Our law firm was founded by Prof. Dr. Yusril Ihza Mahendra, S.H., M.Sc., a Professor of Constitutional Law, Philosophy of Law, and Legal Theory at the University of Indonesia. He has held numerous prominent positions, including Minister of State Secretary, Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives/People’s Consultative Assembly (DPR/MPR RI), Minister of Law and Legislation, Minister of Justice (now Minister of Law and Human Rights), as well as serving several times as Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Defense. He was appointed as the legal counsel for the Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidate pair Joko Widodo – Ma’ruf Amin, leading a legal team of 33 lawyers in the Dispute over the Results of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Election at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia in 2019. In 2024, he was chosen as the legal counsel for the Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidate pair Prabowo Subianto – Gibran Rakabuming Raka, heading a legal team of 45 lawyers in the Dispute over the Results of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Election at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024. Currently, he has been entrusted by President Prabowo Subianto to serve as the Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections in the Red and White Cabinet for the 2024-2029 term.
